We'll explore intervals, target notes, chord tones, and simple guidelines that can help you create stronger melodies while still maintaining the expression and freedom we discussed in the first class. This won't be a heavy theory lecture. The goal is to make theory practical and immediately usable by connecting it directly to your improvisation and technique. Topics we'll cover: Understanding intervals and their sound How notes relate to the underlying chord Target notes and chord tones Creating tension and release in solos Making scale patterns sound more musical Combining theory with slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, bends, and vibrato Simple improvisation exercises you can apply right away To view all upcoming sessions, click "Book Now"
